Here’s a quick compilation of some of the most commonly asked questions to help you pick the perfect dress:

We charge £70, this includes storage & insurance until your wedding date, steam pressing the gown and your zip up gown bag.

We supply you with a white (non see through) fully zipped wedding bag to transport and store your gown in. If you would like to take your gown onto a plane in hand luggage we do have the correct sized carry box available for purchase and we can also pack you dress for you at an extra cost.

We ask that you bring no more than a maximum of 3 people to your appointment and that wherever possible you avoid bringing small children into store.

We don’t charge for appointments – but please do let us know if you need to cancel, as we usually have a waiting list of brides trying to book appointments!

Bride To Be has been trading since 1990 and is a founder member of the RBA – The Retail Bridalwear Association, formed in 1995. The RBA is dedicated to supporting the bride and groom by upholding the highest quality standards of customer care and service. Alone within the bridal trade, RBA members are subject to regular checks for efficiency and stability so that you, the customer, can ‘Buy with Confidence’ from a RBA member shop.

Yes, we have sample dresses in our store in sizes 8 – 30. Our expert staff are able to help you with your sizing requirements.

Some of our designers offer a loan service, subject to availability. There is usually a one-off cost for this service to cover the carriage charges and insurance, we are always happy to make enquiries with the designer for you!

We have gowns to suit all budgets from £1000 to £3000.

We prefer you to make an appointment to try on gowns, that way we can allocate a staff member to you for the one to one service, that every bride deserves!

It usually takes about 14 weeks to order bridesmaids dresses, however you will need to allow extra time for any alterations to take place in addition to that.

Bride To Be only sell wedding dresses, unfortunately we don’t offer a hire service.

Yes – We have an on site team of trained fitters & seamstresses – all available to help you realise your dream outfit. All alterations are subject to quotation and availability.

You can order most of our wedding dresses in a choice of fabric, finish and size options – which means the dress will be made for you alone. Ideally, allow at least 9-months for delivery and fittings – but don’t despair if your wedding is sooner, we can usually help with last minute requirements as well.
