Here at Bride To Be in Reading, we understand that not all brides are a perfect size 10! We know that our plus size brides are just as fashion conscious as everyone else and want to look stunningly beautiful on their wedding day! With this in mind we have put together a fabulous collection of on-trend, plus size wedding dresses by our favourite award winning, designers.

Our experienced staff are here to help you find your dream dress, and our on site seamstresses are able to make bespoke changes to your dress such as adding sleeves or straps, making it completely unique to you! We can also offer a private fitting room, if you would like a more relaxed and private gown buying experience.

How many plus sized dresses do you have in store for me to try on?

We currently have approx. 20 dresses in our plus sized collection, in sizes 18 – 28

What if I try on a dress and its too big?

Don't worry our experienced staff will pin the dress for you, so that you can see how it will look when it fits you.

What if I try on a dress and it is too small?

Don't worry, our fabulous staff will pin an extra piece of fabric into the back of the gown, so that you can see what the front would look like when it fits.

I feel a bit self-conscious, is there somewhere private I can get changed?

Yes! We have several fitting rooms that are completely private - be reassured our Bridal Consultants aren't behind the curtain with you, unless you want them to be, and they will always ask your permission before they enter the fitting room. (Please do let us know you would like a private room when you book your appointment)
